About the Artist

Cicely Miller is the artist and creator of Cicely's Jazzy Art. She hails from New Orleans, LA., but has lived in the northwest and on the east coast.

Ever since Cicely was a little girl, she always had a strong passion and appreciation for the arts. She has been drawing since elementary school, winning art contests and participating in honors art. She has been featured in exhibitions in various states such as The Carolinas, Louisiana, Texas, and Washington State.

Cicely graduated from Xavier University of LA. where she majored in Mass Communications and minored in Visual Arts. Photography, web and graphic design and video production are her other specialties. She currently attends UT Dallas where she will obtain a MFA in Arts and Technology.

Most of Cicely's art is full of vibrant colors and emotion. She says, "I love working with exciting colors because it really catches your attention and brings uplifting energy to the room." She is gifted in the pencil and digital mediums. Her black and white pieces evoke strong contrast and interest.

Cicely dreamed of one day owning her own art business and art gallery and starting a foundation for underprivileged youth named after her. One dream has come true. Cicely would like to thank everyone who appreciates her art and who has supported her over the years in her entrepreneural experience.
